No. It works with both in-house energy (e.g., rooftop solar, geothermal) and energy purchased from solar parks or external providers. The Green Module works with any utility data you already track in Moderan — electricity, gas, water, heat. Renewable production tracking is an additional feature for buildings that have solar or other on-site systems, but it is not a requirement.

Yes. You can add day/night pricing, weekend rates, network fees, and any other price variations needed for accurate billing or reporting.

No. The Green Module is designed to work alongside your existing property management workflows. Your property managers enter data as part of their normal routine and Moderan handles the ESG calculations automatically. No specialist ESG knowledge is required to run it day to day.

Renewable energy costs are calculated alongside your regular utility billing in Moderan. Tenant cost reports include solar electricity usage and pricing, so you can pass costs through to tenants transparently as part of your normal billing process.

Yes. All reports can be exported directly from Moderan for investor reporting, lender requirements, or internal ESG teams.

Yes. Moderan can generate tenant-level reports showing their individual energy usage, renewable share, and associated costs, which you can export and share directly with them.
